Eventually, Floe caught on that it was the same Pokemon all the while and played along, to Merry's delight. He allowed Anders to catch him upon leading them to Azalea. Though he causes mischief as frequently as possible, Merry ensures his jokes are rarely bad-natured, and he takes great joy in the amusement of others.
